Would you like to serve on a new committee to help set the direction of KCLMS' alumni relations and our overall education provision?

Or perhaps you might like to share your advice and insights through a careers fair for U-Maths, the umbrella body for England’s burgeoning university maths schools network, headed up by KCLMS' former Head Teacher Dan Abramson OBE?

These are all opportunities which KCLMS is pursuing to forge new connections and strengthen existing ones with our alumni. Furthermore, KCLMS is looking for ways to further support our graduates. In addition, we would like to learn more about their time whilst at KCLMS. We hope this feedback will then help us deliver a more fulfilling learning experience for current students.

Jeremy Judge, Assistant Head at King’s Maths School, said: “We want to optimise the relationship between KCLMS and our incredible alumni. We also want to better connect them with our current student and the fabulous family of sister maths schools. We'd love for alumni to share their views and perspectives through an important survey to help us further embed a culture of purposeful, inclusive and innovative practice and support for our maths community."

U-Maths and Mr Abramson

KCLMS is collaborating with U-Maths which is designed to grow and strengthen the maths school movement in England. Consisting of other specialist maths sixth-forms which are spread all across the country from Imperial to DurhamLancasterCambridgeSurrey and other areas, U-Maths is looking for input and insights from KCLMS alumni in a variety of ways.

Dan Abramson OBE, Chief Executive of U-Maths, said: “KCLMS alumni have benefited so much from their time at the school and in particular from being a part of such a strong, caring and vibrant community. Many alumni are keen to 'give back' and use their own journeys, insights and connections to foster the success of the next generation of maths school students. This short survey will help King's Maths School to work out how alumni can continue to be involved in different ways and through that to strengthen relationships between maths schools all over the country."

The deadline to fill out the survey is Sunday 16th March. Thank you for your help and input, we very much appreciate it.

Separately, KCLMS will be organising alumni reunions for those who graduated in 2024, 2022 or 2018. Please keep an eye out for an invite to an in-person reunion during the summer.
